How It Works

Flow Induces Rotation: When the fluid or gas passes through the turbine flow meter, it causes the turbine wheel to rotate.

Proportional Speed: The speed of the turbine wheel is directly proportional to the flow rate of the fluid or gas.

Signal Generation: As the turbine wheel rotates, it generates a frequency signal (usually pulses) that is proportional to the flow rate.

Measurement and Output: The frequency signal is then processed by an electronic transmitter to provide a flow rate reading, which can be displayed locally or transmitted to a remote system for monitoring and control.
